Who Will Win Calder Trophy as NHL's Rookie of the Year? The NHL season is less than a week old, and some rookies have already made their first highlight reels.

Edmonton’s Jordan Eberle got the party started with his physics-defying goal in his NHL debut, overshadowing that of 2010’s No. 1 pick, Taylor Hall.

Hall has yet to light the lamp for the Oilers, but he did pick up an assist in his second career contest.

The Bruins’ own Tyler Seguin scored his first NHL goal on Sunday in Prague, and it, too, wound up on its fair share of highlight films.

The Black and Gold’s Calder Trophy candidate played against another explosive rookie, as Oliver Ekman-Larsson suited up for the Phoenix Coyotes. Though he didn’t register any points, the 19-year-old Swede has a lot of promise.

One rookie who has put his promise on display has been P.K. Subban. Though he played in just two regular-season games last season, he got a wealth of playoff experience when he played in 14 games for the Canadiens, finishing with eight points and a plus-2 rating. Needless to say, big things are expected out of the defenseman in his first full season in the league.

All of these players have the potential, but who will be honored as the league’s best rookie at year’s end?
