The Brad Childress saga has been the focus of news in Minnesota Vikings circles lately, but the Jenn Sterger–Brett Favre scandal is still going strong.
Sterger, a former Jets sideline reporter, finally met with NFL investigators on Thursday to reveal the truth about the alleged raunchy text messages and voicemails that Favre sent her when he played for the Jets in 2008, according to the New York Post.
Sterger and her legal team reportedly gave the NFL a "substantial amount" of material to vindicate Favre, making it more and more likely the legendary quarterback will be disciplined by the league.
"We can confirm that a meeting took place with the NFL today and we cooperated fully by providing them with substantial materials in our possession," Sterger's manager, Phil Reese, told the Post.
Sterger, who recently hosted the now-cancelled Versus TV show The Daily Line, met with NFL security chief Milt Ahlerich and other league investigators for three hours today in Manhattan. The 26-year-old has posed for several men's magazines and is widely known for her good looks.
