Tim Thomas' Dream Season Worthy of 7th Player Award Honor Tim Thomas set out for a comeback season in 2010-11 after losing his starting job to Tuukka Rask last year, but even the 36-year-old former Vezina Trophy winner probably wasn't expecting this record-setting season.

Thomas currently is leading the NHL with a 2.02 goals-against average and a .938 save percentage. His 26 wins ranks him fifth in the NHL, having played fewer games than everybody ahead of him on the list.

There's no doubt that Thomas' season has been the definition of "performing above and beyond expectations," and that's what the 7th Player Award Presented by Central Auto Group in Norwood and Raynham is all about.
