The Bruins will pay tribute to legendary radio personality Bob Wilson on Saturday, March 26 when the B’s play host to the New York Rangers at the TD Garden.

The Bruins will have a special ceremony prior to faceoff as the club will rename the TD Garden home radio broadcasting booth the Bob Wilson Radio Booth. A sliver microphone encased in a back and gold frame — similar to the one that already exists for Bruins legendary television broadcaster Fred Cusick — will be installed on the facade beneath the broadcast booth.

Wilson will then be honored on the ice as well, as he is slated to drop the ceremonial first puck. As a special treat, the Arlington, Mass., native will also serve as the first intermission commentator alongside Bruins current announcers Dave Goucher and Bob Beers on 98.5 The Sports Hub.;
