Things might be a little bit awkward between Steve Downie and Andrew Ference on Friday night at TD Garden when the Lightning and Bruins meet for Game 7 of the Eastern Conference final.

Late in the third period of Tampa's 5-4 win over Boston in Wednesday's Game 6, Downie left Ference with an air kiss when the two got up close and personal in a scrum in front of the net.

Downie has been an agitator all series, and this just takes things to another level.
