The New England Revolution will welcome one of the world's greatest soccer clubs to Gillette Stadium on Wednesday, July 13, and the MBTA is increasing rail service to accommodate the large crowds expected.

The MBTA will offer one express train from South Station in Boston to Foxboro for New England's friendly against Premier League champion Manchester United at 8 p.m., making only one stop at Dedham Corporate station.

The train will leave South Station at 5:45 p.m., stopping in Dedham at 6:20 and arriving at Gillette at 7:05. The return trip to Boston will leave approximately one half-hour after the conclusion of the match.

Round-trip tickets are available for $15 each and will go on sale Monday, June 27. Tickets must be purchased in advance, as the train has a capacity of 1,800 passengers.

Direct service is not normally offered for Revolution games, but officials chose to make it available for this special match as larger than average crowds are expected. An international friendly between the United States and Spain on June 4 at Gillette drew nearly 65,000 fans, the most ever for a soccer match in New England.
