Clay Buchholz Ready to Rehab After Getting Diagnosis on Back Injury, Relieved to Know He’s Not a ‘Wuss’

It's been a rough month and a half for Red Sox pitcher Clay Buchholz, as he continued his search for answers when it came to his ailing back.

The right-hander and the Red Sox finally got all of the information they needed on Tuesday when it was confirmed that Buchholz has a stress fracture in his back. For Buchholz, that news is almost a bit of a relief now that he knows what he is dealing with. Also, it means Buchholz now knows what he needs to do to have a chance of returning this season.
