Diego Fagundez made his MLS debut for the New England Revolution Saturday night, and it was a memorable one for the 16-year-old phenom.
Fagundez entered in the 66th minute and scored his first career goal 20 minutes later — at the time, bringing New England's deficit to one with just under five minutes to play.
But Chivas USA would hold on for the 3-2 victory, pushing the Revs' winless streak to three games and their home record to below .500.
Forward Alejando Moreno scored two of Chivas' three goals, and his second, which came in the 80th minute, eventually proved to be the game-winner.
Sharlie Joseph notched his team-leading seventh goal of the season in the 69th minute for the Revs.
