Nearly everything in Brad Marchand’s rookie campaign went his way. The first fight of his NHL career certainly could have gone better, but the small forward didn’t back down to Andrew Cogliano and held his own for the fight.

Marchand had both hands on Cogliano’s sweater for most of the fight, but was able to record a takedown at the end.
