Most of the major moves that either the Red Sox or Yankees will make this offseason have been made. Aside from a few late additions (Roy Oswalt?) and late subtractions (Tim Wakefield), the teams prepare to report for spring training with more or less the rosters they expect to begin the season with.
With the personnel in place, it will fall to the managers to organize the pieces. The chess match between Joe Girardi and Bobby Valentine in the AL East should bear watching all season.
