The championship banners for the 2011 Boston Bruins and the 2008 Boston Celtics were hung in the middle of Faneuil Hall on Friday.
Due to NCAA sanctions, all the banners had to be removed from the TD Garden prior to the games on Thursday and Saturday night. The process to remove these banners took the Garden staff multiple hours before the banners were properly transported to a recreational complex in Dorchester, Mass.
