Phillie Phanatic, Youppi! Among Top 10 Prime Suspects in Wally the Green Monster’s Disappearance (Photos)

Wally the Green Monster went missing from Fenway Park on Friday afternoon, prompting a frantic search by the city and Red Sox Nation at large. Luckily, he was found within hours and returned to the historic Fenway Park.

While Wally was initially reported as “stolen” by the Boston Police Department, they later declared that there may have been a misunderstanding about where Wally was and that there was no foul play afoot.

We’re not buying it. As one of the most famous mascots in all of sports, plenty of other mascots must be jealous of the Green Monster’s fame. We have compiled a list of possible suspects in Wally’s kidnapping, which will hopefully lead to an arrest.
