This World Series has certainly been a doozy.

The battle between the Red Sox and Cardinals through five games has been filled with outrageous endings in back-to-back games, unlikely offensive heroes in Jonny Gomes and David Ross emerging at the right moments and that David Ortiz guy hasn’t been too bad either, batting an unbelievable .733 throughout the Fall Classic.

St. Louis and Boston have put on an absolute show, keeping the games entertaining until the very last out — literally — and Sports Illustrated has captured some of the shenanigans in their cover that will hit newsstands on Nov. 4.

Jarrod Satalamacchia tagging out Allen Craig in Game 3 graces the front of the magazine, capturing one of the most defining moments of the series — the infamous obstruction call on Will Middlebrooks.

Above the image of the wild play, Fall Classic has appropriately been replaced with “The Crazy Classic.”
