No. Pulled. Groins.

That’s all that mattered during Friday afternoon’s media game at Fenway Park, which kicked off the highly anticipated Citi Frozen Fenway event. The game, hosted by Elevate Communications, featured a mix of media members from radio, television, digital and everything in between as about 40 of the region’s press representatives took the ice for a friendly bout.

Captains Tom Caron and Steve Silva held a live draft via Twitter earlier in the week to decide the teams and it was Silva’s group taking down TC’s squad, 6-4, thanks to some timely odd-man rushes and successful cherry-picking.

NESN’s Jamison Coyle and John Beattie — along with NESN Sports Today‘s Patriots insider Jermaine Wiggins — were members of TC’s squad, which is reportedly hosting tryouts in December of 2015 for the next #CitiFrozenMediaScrum.
