BOSTON — The Bruins will take on the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday afternoon at TD Garden, and they will do so without two of their regulars.
Jarome Iginla and Kevan Miller are both scratches for the B’s as the resting process has apparently begun. Iginla missed Wednesday’s game in Detroit with what the team called a lower body injury. He was back in the lineup the next night in Toronto, though. This marks Miller’s first scratch. He had been immune to the defensive rotation that’s been going on over the last month or so. Miller had been in the lineup in every game dating back to Jan. 9 against the Los Angeles Kings.
The absence of Iginla will send Loui Eriksson up to the first line, and Jordan Caron will be back in the lineup to replace Eriksson on the third line. That’s what the Bruins did Wednesday against the Maple Leafs as well.
Tuukka Rask will get the start in net for the Bruins, and Ray Emery will be between the pipes for Philadelphia.
Here are the rest of the projected lines and defensive pairings.
