Boston Strong took on a new meaning Tuesday, as the city paused to remember the tragic events surrounding the 2013 Boston Marathon and honor the brave men and women who risked their livesĀ in the face of danger.
This support extended to Boston’s fiveĀ major sports teams, which have been so instrumental in the city’s healing process. Earlier in the day, the Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins, Boston Celtics, New England Patriots and New England Revolution came together on Twitter to show their solidarity on the marathon’s anniversary.
