When the Miami Heat drafted Shabazz Napier in June, they knew they were getting an excellent shooter.
The Massachusetts native and former UConn Husky shot 40.5 percent from downtown in his final collegiate season, and his sharp-shooting abilities were a big reason the Heat used a first-round draft pick on him.
That said, it’s doubtful the Heat believed Napier would be able to easily drain shots from half court while sitting down when they picked him.

Of course, Napier could’ve tried this 50 times before it finally worked, but it’s still impressive nonetheless.
The Heat had a tough offseason, as they were unable to keep LeBron James in South Beach. But seeing their rookie make shots like that might give Heat fans (whatever’s left of them, at least) some hope for 2014-15.
