Cleveland Cavaliers forward Tristan Thompson might have been a little too friendly.
Thompson gave one of the most cringe-worthy TV interviews before the Cavs’ preseason game Friday night against the Dallas Mavericks, and his actions have irked some people.
The Cleveland big man stopped by to chat with FOX Sports sideline reporter Allie Clifton before the game, and he quickly made things weird. After one uncomfortable answer — including calling her by the wrong name — Thompson ended the interview by kissing Clifton on the side of her head.
Awk-ward.Â
Kudos to Clifton for handling things pretty well — at least as well as you can in that situation.
