Basel’s secured passage to the knockout rounds of the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday with 1-1 draw against Liverpool at Anfield. Basel’s progression came at Liverpool’s expense, and the Swiss club celebrated by sharing a provocative cartoon on its Instagram account shortly after the end of the game.
The photo featured a Chelsea player and a Tottenham player carrying a wobbly Liverpool player off the field. The Premier League rivals comfort the Liverpool player with the Reds’ iconic slogan.
