LeBron James keeps leaving a breadcrumb trail suggesting his stay in Cleveland might not be permanent.

Before a report came out indicating James “won’t hesitate” to bolt the Cavaliers a second time if the team does not show improvement soon, the four-time NBA Most Valuable Player dropped a very curious hint to Dwyane Wade. After Wade’s Miami Heat downed the Cavs on Christmas Day, James embraced his former teammate and suggested they could be headed for a reunion.

“We’re going to reunite again and do some bigger and better things, all right?” James could be heard telling Wade.

Listen closely to the video below, right as the footage of James and Wade embracing cuts away to the title card.

The first season of James’ return home has not been as triumphant as many expected. The Cavs have lost three of their last four games to drop their record to 18-13, the players are reportedly tuning out coach David Blatt and starting center Anderson Varejao is out for the season with a torn Achilles. In addition, James is battling a sore knee and power forward Kevin Love was forced to leave Tuesday’s game with back spasms.

Meanwhile, the retooled Heat are 14-18, currently in contention for one of the last playoff spots in the Eastern Conference.
