LeBron James Wants None Of Your Help Getting Up After Hard Foul (Video)

We’ve now seen a couple of recent occasions of NBA players taking some liberties with LeBron James.

The game’s biggest star found himself on the receiving end of a kick to the family jewels from Houston’s James Harden on Sunday, and then James was the recipient of a hard foul Wednesday night against the Toronto Raptors.

James tried to cut into the lane and get to the basket, but his progress was stopped by Toronto big man Jonas Valanciunas. Instead of letting James get to the rim, Valanciunas instead just wrapped up James and brought him to the floor pretty hard.

The foul was called, and Valanciunas went to help up James, but the Cleveland Cavaliers star quickly rejected the goodwill gesture.

“Why would I need his help (getting) up?” James asked after the game, according to The Associated Press. “My teammates will come get me. That’s all that matters.”

The foul, which was upgraded to a flagrant after a video review, seemed to spark James. He scored 14 of his 29 points in a wild fourth quarter to help the Cavs escape with the win, which means no sad selfies this time around for the King.
