Mike Napoli reminded everyone Monday he’s as strong as an ox.
Napoli shattered his bat while launching a home run in the fourth inning of the Boston Red Sox’s spring training game against the Minnesota Twins at JetBlue Park. Only the handle remained in Napoli’s hand, yet it didn’t prevent the ball from landing atop the Green Monster replica in left field.

The home run was Napoli’s fourth of the spring. The first baseman appears to be in a good place at the plate with Opening Day one week away, which is a very encouraging sign for the Red Sox’s offense.
