The Boston Bruins won’t be underestimating the Columbus Blue Jackets when these teams meet at TD Garden on Saturday night.
The Blue Jackets have had all sorts of struggles this season, highlighted by the firing of head coach Todd Richards in October. Results haven’t improved much under new coach John Tortorella — the Blue Jackets sit at the bottom of the NHL standings as of Saturday — but he has Columbus playing hard every shift, and the Bruins need to bounce back after Thursday’s loss to the Vancouver Canucks.
