The 2016 Stanley Cup Final between the Pittsburgh Penguins and San Jose Sharks begins Monday night, but the other 28 teams already have shifted their focus to next month’s NHL draft.
It’s certainly possible we could see some trades go down before Round 1 commences June 24.
A few teams have multiple first-round picks that they might use to acquire additional assets, whether it be more draft picks or roster players. The Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins are among the teams with more than one first-rounder.
