The clock is winding down on Kevin Durant’s decision.
The free-agent superstar is expected to choose his team by Monday, according to ESPN’s Chris Broussard. Durant has a meeting with the Miami Heat scheduled for Sunday.
Kevin Durant has told clubs he is meeting with that his decision will be made within the next 24-36 hours, according to league sources.

No decision has been made on whether Durant will meet again with OKC after his other 5 meetings, sources say.

It seems Durant hasn’t made up his mind yet, though, despite reports Friday that his decision to return to the Oklahoma City Thunder was “90 percent” complete.
Durant reportedly was blown away by the Los Angeles Clippers’ pitch Friday night, and Broussard added the Boston Celtics might have strengthened their chances after reaching an agreement with four-time All-Star Al Horford.
“One person with knowledge of the situation said the Celtics’ addition of Horford could play a part in Durant’s decision, but it will not be an overriding factor,” Broussard wrote. “Executives from teams that have met with Durant have said they have not been able to get a read on which way he is leaning.”
Durant also has met with the Thunder, Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs.
Regardless of his decision, it appears the former NBA MVP will make a few fireworks of his own come Independence Day.
