The Giants staved off elimination with a thrilling win over the Chicago Cubs on Monday in the teams’ National League Division Series, setting up another must-win situation for San Francisco in Game 4 on Tuesday night.
The Cubs, up 2-1 in the best-of-five-game series, will send John Lackey to the mound with another chance to clinch the NLDS, while the Giants will counter with Matt Moore at AT&T Park.
