Ryan Ellis started a brawl in Monday night’s game between the Nashville Predators and Tampa Bay Lightning when he hit Bolts forward J.T. Brown with a high hit in the corner.

Brown clearly didn’t see it coming, but after it happened, he immediately started punching the Preds defenseman. A third-period brawl erupted as a result.

Brown really didn’t want to leave the ice and took his time yelling at Ellis as the linesman tried to usher him away.

The Predators eventually won 3-1.
