Berkshire Bank Hockey Night In New England: Projected Bruins-Red Wings Lineups

The Boston Bruins will aim to sweep their season series with the Detroit Red Wings when they host the Original Six club at TD Garden on Tuesday night.

The B’s will be shorthanded thanks to a wave of injuries that has battered the roster. Patrice Bergeron (fractured foot), Charlie McAvoy (MCL sprain) and Tuukka Rask (undisclosed injury) won’t play against the Red Wings.

Tommy Wingels, Nick Holden and Brian Gionta, all of whom were added to the B’s roster just before the trade deadline last week, are expected to be in the lineup.

A pair of backup goalies will start in net. Boston will turn to Anton Khudobin, while Detroit will counter with Jared Coreau, who’s making his first start of the season.
