Richard Sherman has a list of demands, and they’re pretty reasonable.
The Seattle Seahawks will release the veteran cornerback Friday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Sherman won’t be eligible to sign with a team until March 14, but he can begin talking and negotiation with clubs as soon as Monday.
And thanks to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, we might have a decent idea of which teams Sherman will be looking at.
Asked Richard Sherman what he’s looking for in his next team: “Looking for a great fit. A team that has a great QB. Looking for somewhere I will be comfortable.” Who fits that description? 🤔

Now, Sherman reportedly has real interest in joining the New England Patriots, and the Pats certainly check off most of those boxes. But given the current climate at Gillette Stadium, one has to wonder if Sherman really would be “comfortable” in New England.
Still, the Patriots likely will let Malcolm Butler walk in free agency, so Sherman — if healthy — certainly would be an intriguing option to fill the void.
