If the Toronto Maple Leafs have any hope of getting back in their first-round Stanley Cup playoff series against the Bruins, they’ll need to slow down Boston’s top line.
The line of Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron and David Pastrnak has been unstoppable in the series, which the Bruins lead 2-0 following a 7-3 rout of the Maple Leafs on Saturday. And if you’re looking for answers on how to subdue the Bergeron line, you probably shouldn’t turn to Auston Matthews.

While Boston’s top line as a whole has amassed 20 points through the first two games of the series, Pastrnak has accounted for nearly half of that total. The 21-year-old followed up his three-point Game 1 with a six-point performance in Game 2, which included his first career playoff hat trick.
