Alex Cora’s tenure as Red Sox manager has gotten off to a good start, as Boston has reeled off five wins in a row following an Opening Day loss to the Tampa Bay Rays.
The Red Sox returned to Boston for the first time in 50 days after beating the Miami Marlins 4-2 on Tuesday, and Cora spent his first in-season off day like anyone else who just moved to a new city.

“Moving (Wednesday). You guys know the diaper story, you know. I don’t get caught up,” Cora said before Thursday’s home opener against the Rays at Fenway Park, per WEEI.com. “I know who I am, I know what I represent but I’ve got family. Family flying in (Wednesday) and it was just a regular day. Go to Target, buy a few things for the house.”
Enjoy the anonymity while you can, Alex.
