The Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs are bitter rivals, but there’s been a whole lot of affection displayed through the first two games of their first-round Stanley Cup playoff series.

Brad Marchand kicked off the romance in Game 1 on Thursday when he licked Maple Leafs forward Leo Komarov. Kasperi Kapanen clearly took a page out of Marchand’s book Saturday night, as he tried to kiss Bruins forward Tim Schaller.

You can watch Kapanen’s attempt to lay one on Schaller here.

The fight for the Cup always is filled with passion, but we didn’t expect there to be much intimacy.
