The Lexus Strike Out Hunger Campaign returns after a year of success.

For the past two seasons, Lexus has donated $50 to the Greater Boston Food Bank for every strikeout by a Boston Red Sox pitcher during the regular season. The third annual Strike Out Hunger campaign follows two highly successful years, with Lexus donating $147,100 to The Greater Boston Food Bank. The contribution provided more than 437,000 healthy meals to those in need across Eastern Massachusetts.

Boston Red Sox starting pitcher Chris Sale led the donation charge on the field by striking out 308 batters in 2017.
