BOSTON — Giancarlo Stanton’s first at-bat at Fenway Park as a member of the New York Yankees didn’t go too well.

Stanton, who has been whiffing at a historic rate to start this season, saw his struggles continue Tuesday night against Boston Red Sox starter Chris Sale, who simply overpowered the Yankees slugger with three straight strikes.

You can watch Sale’s quick work of Stanton here.

Sale’s punchout marked the 22nd of the season for Stanton, who now has gone down by way of the K in half of his at-bats in pinstripes thus far.
