Tage Thompson has become “the guy” for the Buffalo Sabres.
The Boston Bruins take on the Sabres for the first time this season Saturday night.
With Jack Eichel in Las Vegas, Thompson has made the step up for Buffalo. Through 14 games this season, the 25-year-old has 10 goals and eight assists to lead the team in points with 18.
