The Bruins were shut out, 2-0, on the road against the Washington Capitals on Monday night.

Despite a strong defensive effort, Boston failed to find any momentum on the other end of the ice. Boston ramped up the intensity in the final few minutes but it was too little, too late as Washington held firm before sealing the deal with an empty net goal.
