Who Is Your Least Favorite Current Yankee?

Who Is Your Least Favorite Current Yankee? There was a time in just about every Bostonian's life when the sight of pinstripes or that NY logo was enough to make a person start feeling queasy and angry.

Over time, that hatred either grew exponentially or faded away. For those who never lost the hate, there have been plenty of Yankees to target with boos, curses or lady masks. In recent years, the Yankees were loaded with hateable guys, from Gary Sheffield to Alex Rodriguez, Joba Chamberlain to Roger Clemens ("Oh my good … goodness gracious!"), Johnny Damon (for being a traitor to many) to Hideki Matsui (simply for hitting everything in sight). Last year's pickup, Mark Teixeira, spurned the city of Boston and signed with the Yankees, only to hit 600 home runs for the Yankees last year and win the World Series (while huffing and puffing his cheeks the entire time).

Many even-tempered fans (and even some of the unstable ones) have learned to respect the likes of Derek Jeter and Mariano Rivera, appreciating their places in history. Yet there are just as many who simply see the Yankee uniform and can no longer spell "respect."

So in 2010, who's that guy who just rubs you the wrong way? Who irritates you to no end? Is it still A-Rod? Have you never gotten over that Jeter guy? Does Nick Swisher's filling of the "Kevin Millar role" bother you? How about A.J. Burnett and his pies in the face? Robinson Cano's "I'm too cool to look like I'm even trying" demeanor? Jorge Posada's refusal to age properly? Brett Gardner, solely for the fact that Yankee fans are convinced he's twice the player that Jacoby Ellsbury is? Even manager Joe Girardi has to be fair game, with his penchant for wearing sunglasses and built-for-New-York-City face.

No matter how old you are, there will always be that one Yankee who you just can't stand. Who is it now?
