Arsenal stunned Barcelona Wedneday night when it came back to beat Barca 2-1 at the Emirates.

Is it all that surprising for the Gunners to win after Barcelona's own Lionel Messi conceded that Arsenal has "one of the most dangerous players"?

Messi told The Telegraph that Barcelona is afraid of Arsenal winger Theo Walcott's pace, which created problems for Barca in the first half of Wednesday's Champions League meeting.

"I can only speak from experience, but he was one of the most dangerous players I have ever played against," Messi told The Telegraph prior to Wednesday's matchup. "Barcelona players are not scared easily, but I can tell you that when we played Arsenal last season, he truly worried us.

"When we were playing Arsenal at the Emirates [last year], we were so in control of the game at 2-0. With all respect Arsenal were not even in the game," he added. "Then Theo came on and changed the game. He pretty much single-handedly salvaged a draw that night."

While Walcott created problems for Barca in the first half of Wednesday's match, he was withdrawn in the second. He'll have another chance, however, to scare Barcelona when the two sides meet up for the return game in Camp Nou on March 8.
