Should Alex Burrows Have Been Suspended for Biting Patrice Bergeron in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final? Vancouver is a beautiful city, far, far away from Boston. It’s very clean, and it’s filled with pleasant folks who enjoy a good hockey game. For these reasons and more, it was tough for Bruins fans to find a logical excuse to put Canucks players, it’s fans and the city of Vancouver in their crosshairs for some good old-fashioned enemy hatred.

After 20 minutes of Game 1 action, however, Bruins fans were given plenty of reason to sink their teeth into an all-out fit of rage.

Alex Burrows, while tangled up with Patrice Bergeron, decided to heat things up a little by biting the B’s center’s finger. Burrows received a double minor for roughing after the incident, but escaped any suspension by the league office. Should he have been suspended? Vote below.
