The biggest Red Sox news from Sunday may have already come, with manager Bobby Valentine announcing that Felix Doubront and Daniel Bard will round out the Boston rotation.
But there's still a game to be played, and the 2012 Mayor's Cup is on the line.
There's a lot of familiar names in Sunday's lineup, as Bobby V could be giving us a taste of what we'll see early on this season.
Jacoby Ellsbury will be atop the Boston order, with the usual suspects following suit. Cody Ross and Ryan Sweeney will man the corner outfield positions, as Ross gets the start in left and Sweeney in right.
Vicente Padilla toes the rubber for the Sox, while old friend Carl Pavano gets the nod for the Twins.
First pitch is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. You can watch all of the action on NESN. Be sure to stick with NESN.com throughout the day for more up-to-the-minute news and analysis.
