Francisco Liriano Traded to Chicago For Youngsters as White Sox Continue to DealThe Red Sox could still use a little help in their starting rotation, but Francisco Liriano's name is no longer on the list of potential trade options.

Liriano has been dealt to the Chicago White Sox for shortstop Eduardo Escobar and left-handed pitcher Pedro Hernandez, according to Major League Baseball's official Twitter account.

The White Sox have a 2 1/2 game lead over the Detroit Tigers in the American League Central going into play Sunday. Chicago already made one major trade this season when it acquired Kevin Youkilis from the Red Sox on June 25.

In 22 games for the Twins this year, Liriano is 3-10 with a 5.31 ERA.
