It's a good thing that Dwyane Wade plays in the NBA these days, and not on the schoolyard, or even the local YMCA.
The Heat guard was the victim of a somewhat innocuous, yet hard foul from Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo late in Miami's 120-107 win Tuesday night. As Wade drove by Rondo, the Boston guard grabbed Wade — admittedly high — and slowed him down, but not pulling him to the ground or anything.
See the play below.
Rondo was given a Flagrant 1 on the play, and not much came of the play other than the skirmish, which could be seen in the video.
It's clear that Wade took exception to the play as it happened, and even looked to be ready to throw the ball at Rondo, but thought better of it. He then had to be held back by teammates, and he wasn't much happier given time to cool off after the game. When asked about the play, Wade was pretty blatant in what he thought.
"It was a punk play by him," Wade said. "The league will take care of it. He clotheslined me, with two hands."
Clothesline may be pushing it just a bit, especially given Rondo's efforts in holding Wade up. It's unclear whether or not Rondo will have to answer to the league offices for this play, though.

If you were able to corral yourself a sad-looking free taco like this one on Tuesday, you can thank Angel Pagan.

Quote of the Day
"I was just trying to focus as much as I could. I am such an intense person. It was a blank. Obviously he's on the other side. It's time to play the game, man."

People helping people. It's powerful stuff.
How bout this text from the great @si_peterking: "Can come out tomorrow to help you clear the property. Want me to come?" Pure class, Peter.
