Now, that’s news you want to wake up to.
Hockey fans everywhere have had a great Sunday morning thanks to the NHL and players’ association reaching a deal. The two sides have a tentative agreement after a long bargaining session that stretched from Saturday night into early Sunday morning.
Plenty of fans have taken to the Internet to express their happiness (“hockey!”), but there’s also been attention from some of Boston’s bigger names, who are excited to see the Bruins go at it again. From football players and Olympic gold medalists to NESN’s own Andy Brickley and Tom Caron, check out the some of the early responses as New England prepares to welcome hockey back.
