Finnish Call of Patrice Bergeron’s Game 7 Goals Certainly Captures Excitement of Moments (Video)

There are some people who think NESN Bruins play-by-play man Jack Edwards can get a little extreme with his calls. If Jack was in the Finnish broadcasting game, however, he’d be pretty tame apparently.

The sports blog Awful Announcing has uncovered some pretty awesome footage from Monday night’s Game 7 between the Bruins and the Maple Leafs. That game, of course, featured one of the greatest comebacks in NHL history with the Bruins coming back from being down 4-1 midway through the third period to tie the game and eventually win it in overtime.

There were plenty of outlets covering the historic game, especially with two big hockey markets in Boston and Toronto. However, the coverage wasn’t exclusive to North America. In fact, one of the best calls of Patrice Bergeron‘s game-tying and overtime goals came from a Finnish TV broadcast.

Hear them below.
