Red Sox Beat Blue Jays on Shane Victorino’s Walk-Off Error to First Base (Video)

When Jonathan Diaz came around to score in the bottom of the ninth inning on Sunday afternoon, the Red Sox piled out of the dugout to swarm, abuse, punch and harass Shane Victorino. It may have been more appropriate to take the celebration over to Blue Jays first baseman Josh Thole.

It was Thole, after all, who misplayed the grounder that Victorino hit between first and second base. Victorino was credited with the unofficial walk-off win but not a hit or an RBI.

Check out the exuberant, if not slightly ironic, walk-off celebration in the video below, or check it out here.

Aetna Strikeouts for A Cause

For every strikeout by a Red Sox pitcher at Fenway Park in June, Aetna will donate $250 to Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. Through June 25, the donation mark stands at $30,000.

Through their continued efforts in the local community, Aetna is helping to build a healthier world -- one city and one strikeout at a time.
