The Bruins are, if nothing else, very good sports when it comes to doing things for charities. That’s especially true when it comes to brightening the days of sick children around Halloween.
The B’s have developed an annual Halloween tradition of dressing up in (often times ridiculous) costumes and heading over to Children’s Hospital to hang out with the kids. Bruins captain Zdeno Chara had held the title for best costume when he went as a giant bunny a couple of years ago, but Dougie Hamilton is making a push for that claim.
Hamilton, Reilly Smith and Matt Bartkowski paid a visit to Children’s on Monday, and they went in their respective Halloween costumes. Hamilton dressed up as a baby, Smith as Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story and Bartkowski as a pirate.
