Jonny Gomes Nearly Gets Beard Ripped Off His Face Following Three-Run Home Run (GIF)

Mike Napoli almost ruined about a half-year’s worth of glorious beard-growth in one swipe.

After Jonny Gomes belted his three-run home run in Game 4 of the World Series on Sunday night, Napoli greeted the left fielder at the top of the dugout to partake in the traditional beard-pulling ceremony. Napoli, as fired up as just about everyone else in Red Sox Nation, took a fist full of the slugger’s beard and nearly ripped it off his face.
