Is Drake trying to shake his unofficial title of world’s biggest bandwagon fan?
The Canadian rapper has had a habit of supporting franchises at very opportune times, showing up to games just as his “favorite teams” start to do well.
But that all changed Thursday when he posed for a photo with the Houston Astros. The same Houston Astros who have suffered three straight 100-loss seasons.
At 30-37, this year’s Astros are doing relatively better than in seasons past, and with one of the best farm systems in the league, they might have a chance to contend in a few years. But Drake doesn’t strike us as the type who would know too much about that.
He could be a fan of his hometown Toronto Blue Jays, who are currently the AL East leaders, so that makes his team of choice even more surprising.
