Mike Milbury: ‘It’s Time’ To Get Rid Of Fighting In Hockey (Video)

Fighting is arguably one of the most exciting features hockey has to offer, but it isn’t for everyone. Just ask NBC Sports NHL analyst Mike Milbury.

Before Wednesday night’s game between the Boston Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers, the former Bruins defenseman spoke out against fighting in the sport. “There are too many issues here involving concussions,” Milbury said. “Teams are getting away from it, let’s grow up and get rid of it.”

Milbury’s stance is ironic, considering he was involved in more than 70 scraps in his career, but this isn’t the first time he has expressed his disdain for fighting.
