President Barack Obama was asked during a radio interview about Michael Jordan recently criticizing his golf game. The commander in chief responded with a few zingers directed toward the NBA legend.

Obama said Jordan, who recently called the president a “hack” golfer, “wasn’t very well-informed” when it came to his golf critique. Obama and Ahmad Rashad, who conducted the interview with Jordan, recently defeated former NBA big man Alonzo Mourning on the links, according to the president.

Still, Obama was quick to clarify the situation and offer praise, though not without a dig.

“But there is no doubt that Michael is a better golfer than I am,” Obama told WJMR in Wisconsin. “Of course, if I was playing twice a day for the last 15 years, then that might not be the case.”

Obama wasn’t done firing shots, either. He unloaded one more haymaker on the former NBA All-Star and current principal owner of the Charlotte Hornets.

“He might want to spend more time thinking about the Bobcats — or the Hornets,” Obama remarked.

And that’s the game.
